The founding board of the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children was formed in 1970.
The mission of the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children is to provide abused, neglected and homeless youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming contributing members of society.
The organization has various youth shelters and programs that provide transitional housing, life skills education, crisis intervention, family therapy and much more. They assist over 500 children, teens, and families each year.
